I am looking for a good graphic card for my computer. I am thinking of just buying a PCI Express x16 motherboard then a PCI Express x16 video card but if there are any good AGP video cards that will be able to run new games at max graphics that is any price because I am not sure what I am willing to spend on this.

AGP and PCI are completely different type of slots on motherboards. How can you have an AGP that is PCI ready? I'm not trying to say there's no such thing, I've just never heard of it...

its not statistically better you're just a fan of ATI.
It's the coke vs pepsi argument. Drop it and let him buy what he wants.

Well Chris called it but it has been put under extensive benchmarks using CoD2, Half-Life 2, and 3D Mark 2007 and statisically it is better than any Nvidia card. Its also cheaper than the Nvidia cards. I used to only use Nvidia but then i swiched to ATI due to how much BETTER they are.

actually ATI was bought out by another company, i want to say IBM but i could be wrong, I know that nvidia is still nvidia and would never sell out to any other gAY company

I could make just the opposite point. I have seen similar surveys in which NVidia was declared superior (private research group unassociated). And I, myself, started ATI and switched NVidia.
Coke and Pepsi
To avoid further arguments I don't feel like engaging in, this is very relevant to the theory in Psychology known as "the car crash effect".

actually ATI was bought out by another company, i want to say IBM but i could be wrong, I know that nvidia is still nvidia and would never sell out to any other gAY company AMD bought them out for $5.4 billion, and ATI was falling short of their predicted revenue by $140 million (7% of the annual budget). I think ATI came out a winner, there. They're still ATI, they still have their freedom, they just are owned by a company who has more money in their budget, meaning ATI's budget may increase, allowing them to do more.

I would just like to point out I made this post in July and took till August for someone actually to say something then it died and came back again in September, thanks for the prompt response guys.
Anyway ATI and NVIDIA, like derek said, are in a way like Pepsi and Coke. The only real difference is NVIDIA seems to have more raw power and speed while ATI has more graphical power but not as much speed (at least it seems).
